    Hello,

My blog http://eforexcourse.com/ is working very well, but today I surprised when I checked my rss feed http://eforexcourse.com/feed and it had an error:

    "XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
    Location: http://eforexcourse.com/feed
    Line Number 1, Column 2:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    -^

I changed theme, deactivated all plugins but no results....

    Any help will be appriciated
    Hatem

Can we see your site using the Twenty Eleven theme with all plugins deactivated?

Have you ever edited any of Twenty Eleven's theme template files?

Looks like it works. Did you fix it? What was it?

Then my best guess is that it's a server issue of some sort. The line <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> is actually valid. I was hoping that your old theme or a plugin was inserting a non-printable (invisible) character at the very start of the RSS feed but that doesn't seem to be the case. So that just leaves the server. Maybe it has something to do with the way the feed file is being served.

Just to be on the safe side, leave the theme & plugins "as is" and try re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

I checked IE and FF and I see the feed working. Maybe I didn't read the full problem which happens sometimes.

Hang on - I'm seeing a well-formed RSS feed now. I wonder if your hosts are running a web cache?

I will contact my webhosting and ask about the web cash...

Now all plugins are deactivated and most of them are essential for my website content, how to deal with this situation?

    Many thanks

I've found that the problem was because of a plugin called "Revision Removal"

As soon as I deactivated it all things became OK...

    Many thanks for all

Did you manage to find out from your hosts what this plugin was doing?

No, I just deactivated it. I do not need to spend time trying to fix it as it's not so important for my website.

I may try to substitute it with another plugin.

When you try to "Activate" this plugin, you get this message:

"The plugin generated 9 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin."
