Error in creating feed (strange characters?) (7 posts)

I have the plugin installed and a feed at http://drottninggatans.se/?em_ess=1

There's something wrong with the feed however:

This page contains the following errors:
error on line 279 at column 93: Entity 'Atilde' not defined

Is this something I can solve or is unsolvable except for the developers?

    Hi Bruce,

could you perform an ESS plugin update within your WordPress admin section to check if the latest ESS plugin version have fixed your issue.

    Thanks

    Hi,

there's a difference after the update; events are there, but a number of errors as well and it is not possible to import the feed into the other site I'm managing.

    Thanks

    Hi Bruce,

We've placed a bug tracking and I saw your error in our console.
I have comited an update to force the script to prevent showing any PHP comments.
As I don't arrive to replicate this issue, can you update the addon to see if it works now for you.

Another important thing, I also saw in the Search Engine Push that the event you've sent was without location, it makes it hard to find by search engines.
The events location is to define within Events Manager events description page.

We will do a warning message in the next release.

    Hi Bruce,

I understand why some of you get this error with strange characters that can't be encoded in XML.

I write the tech details, in case someone get the same issue.
    PHP version < 5.4 don't have the XML handler ENT_XML1 that converts unauthorized chars like & < > into & or <

    Hello again,

this latest update definitely made things better. The feed looks totally alright now (to my amateurish eyes at least and I also added location to my events) .

The "importing" site however, still gives me a "1.4" error when trying to do the import.

    Aha!

I get the red "1.4" and no import when I try to import this sample feed as well. https://raw.github.com/essfeed/php-ess/master/samples/simple_event.ess

    Thanks
