   hi,
   i imported my database to server from localhost. i changed the value of siteurl and home wp_option table. also i changed the wp-config.php values to that of server. but still i m getting error in configuration file. any idea what did i miss?

   I would check with your hosting provider. If you can't connect to the database it's because there's a mistake in one of your settings.

   Hello Emaar,
   You have:

   1. Changed site url from phpmyadmin >> database >> wp-options
   2. Edited wp-config.php,

   But not working!!
   So, if you would like to verify and recheck details you entered on wp-config.php

   & if it is not working, its better to install using WordPress installation wizard as:
   http://yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/install.php

   WordPress will guide you for the rest..
