   hi.. I am having this theme problem where i can't change the theme to anything else, even wordpress classic. It works with the wordpress default but i get error 400 if i try to change it. Help please.

   Is your /wp-content folder CHMOD 755?

   I checked... It was only writable by owner.. I changed it to all but problem still exists.

   Please remember that we're all volenteers here and at different time zones. :)

   Can you double check to make sure that the themes subdirectory and the subdirectories within it are set to 755 and the files within are set to 644?

   Are all of the themes displaying on your presentation page?

   I checked the subdirectories and files. I even changed the permissions to all user.
   Yes, the themes are displaying and when i activate it, it says new theme activated but if i view the site it gives
   Internal server error
   try again later.

   I got it solved.

   I dont know what was the reason but sidebar.php was causing it. So, I deleted everything from it and pasted code piece by piece. It's working till now.
