We installed the plugin a few days ago on our Centos machine. It seems the plugin did not create the font_files folder, so any attempts to save new styles were doomed to failure.

If you get the message “Error: Fonts folder is not writable and attempt to make it writable has failed! Change permissions for font_files folder” you need to create a folder called “font_files” yourself under the plugins/font/folder, and perhaps chmod to allow write permissions too.

The “font_files” folder is not to be confused with the “font_files_contents” folder, they are different folders.

Thanks for sharing James. What system are you using? Why couldn’t “font_files” folder be automatically created?
