I’m getting a filename too long to be saved in tar.gz format.
    filenames are huge e.g.

WARNING: File name “wp-content/cache/qc-c-ddf0e400a57ee3403222a89353cff44d-e8598ad8aee2ce4fe49b1b1882ef7c37-664a6242533cf3d782c4a7cccead66bc” is too long to be saved correctly in TarGz archive!

I haven’t configured any settings just made a job of back it up now type.
what do I need to do ?

I’m also using “Quick cache” plugin but its off right now.
Not sure why backwpup is using cache directory to save backups…

Is it some kind of weird redirect rule in htaccess ?

Once I reactivated quick cache – it started working again… weird…?

The best an esyest way is excludeing cache folders from backup. They will not needed for a restore.

The archive format do not support file names longer than 100 chars.

The warning only mens that the file name will stored shortend in the archive.
