I am having the exact same issue – haven’t moved servers or anything and I was able to log in last week then out of the blue this happened. I’m about to email the server to ask if there had been any un-notified changes. I’m also doing a back up off the ftp server and gonna install wordpress again.
The only thing I’ve done was try to use the wordpress app on the iphone but it couldn’t connect so I thought when I get home I’ll set the site up so I can use it on the iphone but that’s when I couldn’t log in.
Did you do the same? And who are you hosted with?
Nevermind solved it
My host changed passwords a month ago, even though I changed them on the ftp server and everything back then I guess it took a month for them to change it to the databases. It was just a matter of editing the wp-config.php file and putting in the right password
