Double-check the credentials in your wp-config.php file.
This is usually in the site root.
Recheck your database info in wp-config.php file.
Post your url so we can see what the problem is.

don't know if it's ok i join this thread, am also getting the error establishing database connection with my site hosted with bluehost even though the credentials of my wp-config is correct i still get the error establishing database connection.

I got the same error. I call the hosting support and I got this «Upon reviewing your account, I show that these addresses are different because you have a redirect in your .htaccess file for premiumvillacollection.com that leads elswhere. You will need to remove this redirect. Additionally, the database error is appearing because the connection string does not contain the correct log in credentials for the database. You will need to locate this information and add the updated credentials. »
I checked the wp-config.php file and the record are ok.
