Error Establishing A Database Connection

Ok, so I am trying to install WordPress on a server made by Westhost. I have created databases and users, tied the user to the appropriate database, threw in the php files for wordpress, and then edited the config file with the correct information. Yet, it still has problems connecting. What information do you guys need from me to help you help me? I’m lost.
I feel like the database might not be connected to the URL. The main website that this is under is controlled by FrontPage, and his hosting is provided by Westhost.
