Error establishing a database connection

    I have been editing the content of my blog Trudel’s Truth tonight. Up until now I have had no trouble accessing the site. I was inserting a photo in one of the posts and needed to crop it. During the process I got the error message “Error establishing a database connection.”

    I have seen other posts with this title but they don’t seem to be relate to this situation.

    Up and running again.
    The old trick always works… except when it doesn’t. Struggle and struggle and sweat.. and then post a question. Voila Everything works again.

    How did you resolve this? I’ve been getting the same problem all of a sudden.

    It turns out that my hosting service had rebooted the server because of stability issues just as I was trying to edit some photos on the site. Of course I blamed myself, but it was purely a hosting issue.

    The only thing I did was send a panicked note to my provider, but I didn’t break it and I had nothing to do with fixing it.

    Thanks, can I ask who your hosting service is by the way? Just incase it’s the same one as mine…
