Error establishing a database connection

    Well.. My website was suddenly down several weeks ago and i have contacted my host and theres nothing wrong with my database or the info in the wp_config file. So im quite blank about what to do now..

    Hope to get some help here now.
    I looked through several topics to see if anything similar has been up before. But couldnt find any.

    The forum is full of help requests like yours. The answer is always the same: your 4 pieces of info in the wp-config file are NOT correct.

    Well all in that file is correct.. so i have no idea what the problem is..

    Sorry to bring the bad news… if it was correct you wouldn’t see the error message.

    Is the user added to the database?

    Yes and it have worked before.. Had this blog since last year.. never had this problem before and never edited anything in those files

    Then, despite what they say, your host did something on their end. It happens more often than you’d think.
    Ask them about updating software or hardware, moving your site to a new box, etc.
