I had a message at the top of my wordpress when I was logged in and it said upgrade now to version. I hit the upgrade button but after I finished my entire site was gone. What do I do and how do I get it back.
Below is the html version of what is on my site now.

Hi,
By any chance did you first disable any plugins before the upgrade? This article will really be helpful: Updating WordPress.

No, am I supposed to? You would think they would have said to make sure I disable plugins first.

While it isn't a requirement, some plugins may not have been updated to work with the latest version of WordPress, so it probably helps to. This is a link to the section of the article that I sent you in my earlier post that talks about the topic: Updating_WordPress#Disable_Plugins.

Okay I will do that in the future. But, as for the situation now I can't even log in to update any plugins so what do I do to log in or get my site back?
Use FTP to delete the Contact Form 7 plugin. See Filezilla and FTP Clients « WordPress Codex.
If you still get errors, upload fresh copies of all WordPress core files and folders, except wp-content and wp-config.php.

I cannot find contact Form 7 when I log in to Filezilla. No file wordpress codex. Where do I find it?
It's in wp-content/plugins, see the error message you posted.
Failed opening required '/home/a3793811/public_html/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/settings.php'

Same thing happened on this site. I tried to delete the contact form like above but it did not work. What do I need to do for it?

This site has a different error. The wp-settings.php file can't be read.

So, what does that mean? Can I fix it?
You can upload all the wordpress files again.
