error defined function ???

    Hi,

    just installed WP. The moment I log in I get the first part of the “GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE Version 2, June 1991 Copyright …” (without any styles = plain screenfilling text) and it ends with

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: __() in /usr/www/users/username/blogname/wp-admin/index.php on line 3

    Any ideas?

    You shouldn’t be seeing that which I would guess is ‘license.txt’

    Does your host have php ?
    Did you upload the files in ASCII mode ?
    What are you using to upload with ?

    Yep, host has php, i just reloaded everything in ASCII and used cuteFTP pro for that. I manage to log in with the random password (admin-account) but it sends me to the startpage:

    WordPress Version 1.5
    Semantic Personal Publishing Platform
    First Things First
    Welcome. WordPress is…
    Installation 5 minutes install … etc etc.

    It says i should see a screen where i can change my profile after i log in but no such luck, i just keep seeing the startpage.

    When i put in http://www.50above.com/wp-login.php, i always get back to this page.

    Any ideas?
