   I am trying to upgrade to the latest version of wordpress and keep receiveing this error.
   
   There was an error connecting to the server, Please verify the settings are correct.

   I have set the ftp to localhost.. http://ftp.domainnamehere.com and reset my password etc still with no luck.

   What can I try?
