Hi Marcus, I am getting this error code on my front end listing form after updating to 5.5.3.

    Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'JSMin_UnterminatedStringException' with message 'JSMin: Unterminated String at byte 504663: "===a.STRING(4,5).toUpperCase()?r():!1):!1' in /home/collecto/public_html/wp-content/plugins/autoptimize/classes/external/php/minify-2.1.7-jsmin.php:203 Stack trace: #0 /home/collecto/public_html/wp-content/plugins/autoptimize/classes/external/php/minify-2.1.7-jsmin.php(145): JSMin->action(1) #1 /home/collecto/public_html/wp-content/plugins/autoptimize/classes/external/php/minify-2.1.7-jsmin.php(84): JSMin->min() #2 /home/collecto/public_html/wp-content/plugins/autoptimize/classes/autoptimizeScripts.php(175): JSMin::minify('?try{jQuery.noC...') #3 /home/collecto/public_html/wp-content/plugins/autoptimize/autoptimize.php(249): autoptimizeScripts->minify() #4 [internal function]: autoptimize_end_buffering('<!DOCTYPE html>...', 9) #5 /home/collecto/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-external-links/includes/class-wp-external-links.php(125): ob_end_flush() #6 [internal function]: WP_External_Links->callba in /home/collecto/public_html/wp-content/plugins/autoptimize/classes/external/php/minify-2.1.7-jsmin.php on line 203

    Any thoughts?

    hi,

this error above is not from EM but from you other plugins; to narrow down the problem try to temporarily

    - deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

    Your wrong about that Angelo.

This issue started after the events 5.5.3 update. I did not have this issue until updating the events plugin.

Why would I go through all of my other plugins and theme when everything was working properly until I updated the events manager plugin?? Your update started the fatal error message.

The culprit is the plupload.full.min.js. After excluding plupload.full.min.js the issue resolves.

However, now all plupload.full.min.js is not being optimized for the site, just to accommodate an issue brought about by Events Manager.

Others are having the same issue: Read this:

    Hey Will,

Unless I've missed something, you're the only person in that thread having that issue who's also using Events Manager - so the comments from other users don't help fix this issue.

Where does plupload.full.min.js fit into this?

The error message you posted doesn't mention it, plupload.full.min.js isn't included with Events Manager and I'm pretty sure it's not called within the code.

Additionally, given the min.js filename it's presumably already minified so doesn't need to be optimized (?). That could have something to do with the error. Based on a quick Google search, it looks to me like plupload.full.min.js is connected with user uploads. Do you have any plugins running that deal with that?

The error message posted doesn't mention any file connected with Events Manager or the Pro add-on. We're happy to help but at the moment, I can't see the connection between this error and Events Manager.

Sorry bout that. I misread the other posts on the link I gave you.

Just one more thing in response to your post...I am using the file upload features on Gravity Forms, Events Manager, Connections and Types Toolset.

However, the issue only showed up on the Events Manager front end user form after the events 5.5.3 update....so that's why I perceived it to be an Events Manager issue.

I did update the theme today, it is Woo's Merchant Theme...as they had a jquery bug fix. Not sure if that would relate to this though.

Anyway, Thanks for the great plugin and all the great work you guys have done on it. Events Manager is by far the best, and most well supported calendar plugin in WOW (world of wordpress<G>)

    Regards,
    Will
