   I am trying to edit a page on my blog and have been getting the server error below for over 14 hours...is this typical? Thanks! Phil

   Error 500 - Internal server error

   An internal server error has occured!
   Please try again later.

   It might be something to do with your .htaccess file. Is it just for the one page, or the whole site, or only when you're in the admin screen?

   Hi, it is just for that one page. I can see the page I want to edit just fine when I go to the blog as as user. When I go to the admin page or dashboard and try to edit that page, I get the error. I really need to get to the page as parts are under development - ugh! I appreciate your help in resolving this!!! Phil

   Should be an error log in your WordPress directory. Be helpful to know what it reports.
   Also check your server's error log, should be found in cPanel or Plesk.

   Sorry, I am really new with WordPress - where is the directory and the server error log?
