   I am having some difficulty with a database compatibility(details are in another thread) and have been installing WP a few times. I have a new problem with the latest install. Previous attempts have not had this issue.

   I was taken to an db updrade page and I followed instructions. When I login to the admin pages, everything works fine. I have enabled the default theme, disabled pretty permalinks and .htaccess.

   When I try to view the site, I get an 500 Internal server error. I have seen previous 2.3.3 installs on this server work fine in this respect.

   Any ideas?
