• OK this is weird. I’m pretty decent theming in WP. I have about 10 plugins installed at the moment. Everything was gelling good. When I installed EO and started erasing some of the empty posts that were under the events section, or at some early point, my Main Nav Menu disappeared? The links on the left were stil there so I repopulated, as things got weird I uninstalled the plugin and my Menu disappeared again? I did have another Events Manager plugin before that I wasnt feeling so I removed it. At this point I feel it may have been some left over data that confused EO? Like i said in a prior Q, I installed EO on an empty theme and it was smooth. I liked it alot actually, but now I’m lost as to why its not adapting to my theme, which, in the grand scheme of things, is pretty clean? Any of these issues sound familiar? I dug into my DB and removed all files associated with any Events plugins… may re-attempt but am a little nervous at this point…

What empty posts? Were these ones left over when you uninstalled Event Manager? I don’t think EM delete the events when its uninstalled, so when you install EO next its pick up on the event posts in the database but details related to the event (e.g. date/time/venue etc) are not. So you end up with an ’empty’ event at the top of the admin page (if that’s what you mean…).

As for the navigation menu disappearing – I’ve never come across this before either… could you quickly test the site out on the TwentyTwelve theme and see if the problem persists?

Yes, I know its hard to ask for help when the site is only local ti me. Thought maybe the symptoms would sound familiar?

Anyways, I did hunt through the DB and erased everything having to do with either events plugin, and had Garbage Collecter scan as well. I am going to try (hesitantly lol) to re-install and see if it is now corrected?

Ill get back to you, thanks.
