I am currently using the theme: Epione 1.3 by Towfiq I.

On the homepage, this theme displays each post with a thumbnail to the left. But a thumbnail will only show up if you upload a picture to the server to which wordpress is installed. Currently I use “FeedWordPress” to syndicate multiple feeds into my blog which means that none of the images will be on my server. Almost every post has no thumnail, only shows a blank space next to where the thumbnail should be.

How do I get rid of this thumbnail summary view and just use the default excerpt from wordpress?

I would also like to use the same technique for the slider built in at the top. I would like to get rid of the thumbnail view, and view the actual excerpt that would show in a normal post. I love the slider feature, but it looks bad if there is no thumbnails to the left.

You can view this problem by viewing my blog: http://www.theebmblog.com
