  • I am having the same issue. I would like the events list integrated into a page that already exists and not as a widget or a stand-alone /events page. Is this possible now that the shortcode [eom-events] no longer works?

Events will automatically show up at the address yoursebsite.com/events/

However you can change this within the settings page by editing the field “Events slug” which will permit you to make the address anything you want.

Now the event listings are showing up on my “Community Calendar” page, but now none of the links on the sidebar widget work. When you click on any of the links, it takes you to an error – not found page. Also, how does anyone create a listing? On my original Community Calendar page I had the eom-listings code, and the code for submitting a listing. Where does that appear now?

Browse to your settings > permalink page and click save. This should reset your links. Add the submission form by creating a new page and add [eom-form] shortcode.

    Hi Matthew,
I did as you suggested above. Widget is now working, and the new page with the [eom-form] shortcode is working. However, http://goodneighborstories.com/events is not working. It briefly worked earlier, and in fact, it even was working momentarily on my Community Calendar page. What would be my next step? Preferably I’d want a page called “Community Calendar” that lists all the events in one place.
Thanks so much for your help.

if you have a page called “events” make sure to remove it. Deactivate and reactivate the plugin.

I do not have a page called “events.” I just deactivated and reactivated the plugin, and now goodneighborstories.com/events is working. However, is there any way to make my “Community Calendar” page act as the “Events” page? If I can’t do that, is there any way to make goodneighborstories.com/events a tab in my navigation bar?

Edit your menu within the Appearance > Menu admin page. There you can add the events listing page and name it whatever you like within the navbar.
