Hello
I am trying to customize twenty eleven so that there is consistency on each section of my site. Currently, the first post entry title on the main page, the entry title on the single post page, and the page title on pages are all in different positions. I would like them to all be in the same position in the respective locations. I can't seem to figure out which property in the stylesheet to edit to achieve this. Any suggestions? I hope this is clear.
I guess it's because twentyeleven sometimes displays the sidebar (on posts pages) and sometimes not (on single post pages and on static pages).
But what exactly do you mean by "different positions"? Are you just referring to the fact that on two column pages the content is aligned left, whereas on single post and page pages it is contained in a block that is centered?
If you intend to alter this behaviour, you should do it in a child theme. Altering twentyeleven directly is strongly discouraged.
To give you more help, we will probably need a link to your site so we can see what is going on.

I mean that on the main page the first post's title is 10px (not really) below the nav bar, on the single entry page the post title is 20px below the nav bar (not really) and the page its 15px (not really) below the nav bar. I actually got the single entry page and other pages aligned. Now I need to know what property to edit to get the main page aligned with the other pages.
I created a child theme.
It's really difficult to help without a link to your site. Can you not post one?
Cheers
