Support » Plugins » Entire plugin has gone missing from wordpress.org (crosspost)

  • (Not sure where to post this; have also filed wp.org bug)

I manage a (quite popular) plugin that normally lives here:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-mobile-pack

About 24 hours ago it disappeared, and neither my contributors nor anonymous users can see it at that URL, or in the search listings.

When I, the owner, am logged to wp.org, I *can* see the pages (and download the ZIP file etc), and it’s still in SVN. But that’s it.

Is there some sort of ‘draft’ or ‘private’ flag that my plugin has inadvertently gained? I personally haven’t touched it for a week or so.

Help! I am losing 300-500 downloads a day. Any insight warmly welcomed.

    James

I guess I really have to bump this back up the forums.

WordPress have not got back to me, and obviously no-one else is seeing this phenomenon on their own plugins 🙁

Does anyone know a good hotline to get a response from someone responsible for wordpress.org and the appearance (and disappearance) of plugins?

    Thanks
    James

The plugin is back. Apologies for the hassle and confusion.
