Enhancement request: expose child menus on hover (4 posts)

    If your page menu includes parent-child menus, the user has to click on the parent tab in order to expose the child tabs under it. In the interest of avoiding unnecessary clicks, could this be changed so that child tabs are exposed as soon as the user hovers the mouse over the parent tab? This practice seems to be pretty standard these days. Thanks.

    Hello linkomatic,
    you'll have to find the child tabs declaration in the css, and add
    display: block;
    on the hover state.
    So that will look like :

    .child-tabs:hover {
    display : block;
    }

    I hope this helps.

    This works nicely for me:

    ul.nav li.dropdown:hover > ul.dropdown-menu{
        display: block;
        margin: 0;
    }

    (the margin is needed to block the buggy behaviour explained in NeOlmo's link)
