    Hello,

Enabling category screw the display of my page. My slider does not display and my menu css is also screwed.

Does somebody have the same problem?

    Any fix?

does it prevent your whole site from working, or just the category page?

It actually prevents the slider to load.
Secondly, category are display at: "#4459 - name of the category"
Where i don't know where does #4459 come from.

Also, when enabled, the css of the calendar does not load.

    Hi,

did you try to see your browser error console to see if there’s any jquery or javascript error? also, check if your theme loads wp default jquery library and/or your theme header.php includes wp_head()

Do you have a sample link? Also, have you tested this with the default theme to see if it still happens?

If you have a link that may help too.

    Hello,
    the page is http://www.mekongsecretscruises.com/calendar/

here are screenshots on how it looks with category and without category:

    http://www.mekongsecretscruises.com/screenshots/category-enabled.png
    and
    http://www.mekongsecretscruises.com/screenshots/category-disabled.png

    I currently disable category.

    In the console i have:
    TypeError: e.widget.extend is not a function @ http://www.mekongsecretscruises.com/wp-includes/js/jquery/ui/jquery.ui.widget.min.js?ver=1.9.2:5

I don't know if it is related

your problem is most likely your theme.

    It's loading a second jQuery UI library, which it shouldn't - http://www.mekongsecretscruises.com/wp-content/themes/dt-nimble/js/jquery-ui-1.8.22.custom.min.js?ver=3.5

Also, have you tested this with the default theme to see if it still happens?

    Hello Marcus,
The bug make sense if it loads two times the JS library.
What do you suggest to change? I need the theme library to load on all the other page.
What would be the best way to have the category feature working on my theme?

To answer your question, i am sure it would work on another theme
