• Hi

I have just enabled hide backend feature. After enabling, my dashboard admin is working properly, but as for “register” and “login” from site homepage is not again.

It points users to the dashboard admin after one click of “login” and the second click of “register”.

I hope this can be resolve so my site will not be attacked by hackers directly again.

By the way, is there any conflict with itheme security if there is another wp-admin url plugin being installed ?

    Thanks.

I have deactivated all the plugins and activated them again. It still the same but now it points users to the dashboard admin after one click of “register” and “login”.

What should I do now ?

I know why as there is something to do with Theme My Login.

Is there any way to resolve it ?

    Hey Uendi,

I’ve been testing this wondering why I wasn’t getting the same behavior. The Hide Backend feature is not compatible with Theme My Login. The developer is aware of this a plans on releasing a solution. Though, I don’t have a timeline of when it’l be released.

I do apologize for the trouble, but for the time being you’ll need to either disable that feature or the other plugin.

    Thanks,

If that is the case, can I add in another plugin to replace this feature at the time being before the developer of Theme My Login releasing the solution?

Will there any further conflict if another plugin being taken in?

That’s my worries and recently my site has been heavily attacked.

    Thanks.

    Hey Uendi,

I know there are other plugins out there that do the same as this feature, but I’m really not familiar with them. With that said, I would highly guess that they would have the same conflict.

I’ve filed a bug report (although it’s not really a bug) and I’ve added a link to this post so I can keep you informed of any changes. It’s worth noting that I honestly don’t have a timeline of when this will be addressed.

    Thanks,
