Enable / disable featured images

    is there a possibility if a Post DONT have a featured image that i hide the “default image” / “place holder”?
    My Blog is mixed with Foto posts and text posts and so it would be nice if there is no featured image enabled on the text post that there is no “place-holder” and for the rest the option is perfect.

    You can see in
    Theme Options > Blog Option
    See section “Enable featured images” and set the flag in box “Check this box if you want to display featured images”

    Global Option “enable featured images” is OK
    BUT
    Need a option to disable the “featured images” on single posts.

    hi….i am using wordpress3.9.1 but i won’t be able to see the set featured image option in this.please help me.
