Empty cart for guest users (permalinks issues)

    I have a problem with my site.
    Suddenly, guest users can’t buy products.
    If you are a guest users and add a product to your cart, then this product desappears when you go to another page. Shopping cart is always empty.

    After lots of testing, activate / deactivate all the plugins, changing htacces file, I think I found the problem:

    I have custom permalinks for product pages:
    ourdomain.com/productos/product-name

    If we change product permalinks to default then guest users can add products and complete all the steps.

    We tested this problem on two different enviroments, a godaddy shared hosted and a vps with plesk.

    Are you aware of this problem? Any solution?

    I have the exact same issue…..only logged in users are able to add products to the shopping cart and checkout. This only happens when trying to use pretty permalinks. If WordPress permalinks are set to default then everything works fine as far as guests being able to add products to shopping cart without logging in, however Woocommerce and Woocommerce extensions have functions that REQUIRE pretty permalinks to be able to function correctly.

    Anyone know how the hell to fix this issue? Thanks!

    Also having this issue. Using ugly permalinks is really not a satisfactory solution. Please post here if you find a solution. I will do the same. I have tried disabling all plugins except woocommerce and using their base storefront theme so it is not a theme or plugins issue.

    I am using multisite and it seems like it is something to do with woocommerce not playing nicely with multisite.

    Not sure exactly what the problem was but this fixes it.
