Just put together this site for a local Gig Harbor, WA employment agency and am proud to say that it's built entirely on WordPress. :)

Good job! Did you use any particular plugins to get the functionality where you wanted?

Howdy. Thanks for the comments, folks. I really appreciate it.

I try to stay away from plugins when I can. Or, more accurately, I try not to go overboard with plugins - I try not to rely on them if they're beyond my technical ability to understand or maintain.

    On this site, I'm using:

    • Google XML Sitemaps
    • cforms II
    • WordPress Database Backup
    • WP Google Analytics

We'll probably add some more over time, but I wanted to start out pretty trim.

I used to be able to smell a WP site a mile away... lately, it's getting really hard. Excellent job on this one.

I'm starting a membership site and really considering using WP. That is why I'm in here seeing what people are doing with WP these days.

I am exploring 'forum' software and that led me to this WP forum... seems so nice. Anyone used this forum software on their site and have any experiences they'd share?

    Very impressive.

I'm so happy that more and more designers/web developers are actually making an effort to validate their code. So many don't bother, especially when using any form of CMS.

Keep it up sewmyheadon. I hope to see many more website of yours in the future.
