   I use the rich text editor to write my posts. This is not a new issue - it has applied to all WordPress V2 versions

   type :-) into the post editor
   publish post

   sometimes the emoticon turns into a picture, sometimes it doesnt

   Heres an example post with failure and success to display an emoticon

   please provide me with clear steps to ensure that emoticons always show up in pictorial form.
