   Rather than having to remember all of the different symbols to type to show emoticons, is it possible to have WordPress display the graphical smilies when writing posts and comments? Maybe a plugin for this perhaps is out there some place?

   Custom Smileys plugin works nice for this. You just have to put the little chunk of code they give you, in your comments template in your theme.

   Another option is WP-Grins, which does only that w/out the code thing required, but it doesn't do as much cool stuff.
