Hi,
I am not a WP user and unfamiliar with the platform, I am well familiar with templating and programming (Java,JSP)
I am maintaining a web-site that uses a home grown CMS and running on PHP,Linux,MySql and Apache with the WP requirements.
I have seen nice gallery that likely uses WP plugin (please scroll down)

Is there a way to integrate such plugin functionality without disrupting my existing site?
Is there a better choice for such a plugin? maybe I don't need the whole cow for this glass of milk..
Essentially I want to embed it in some of my current pages.
thx
wordpress plugins are written to work WITH wordpress. thats why they are called wordpress plugins.
if you arent using wordpress, youre going to have a hard time, a very hard time trying to use any of the plugins.
Find another solution.

In other words, is there no way to have front-end functionality using a WP plugin with an EXISTING site ?
I want them to run side by side
I don't mind adding code/directories to the site and (like I said earlier) - I am running with php & all other components required for WP.
Does it mean you can't integrate WP functionality to existing site ?
ONLY new site ?
thx
