Hey monleen,
In the testimonial section, make sure you click “Text” on the right side so you aren’t in the visual editor. Then paste in your HTML code.
I tried it ..yet nothing

it just outputs the video html tag

Shortcodes won’t work in those boxes. I know it’s the same editor as the posts and pages which can lead to confusion.

when i try embedding html code..nothing…
when i use the upload media button..it automatically generates the shortcode…which in turn displays as is on the browser..sorry if Im being pesky …new at this…

Ok, the iframe is being blocked by some HTML purifying code I have in there (it stops malicious attacks). On my development site I have whitelisted YouTube and Vimeo iframes. I will release an update later tonight.
Hi. I just downloaded the plugin today and attempted to embed a YouTube video using the <iframe> and it does not show up. Was this corrected? I see there was an update, but it’s not working for me. Thanks!

Are you on the Visual or text tab? Can you post the YouTube video you were trying to embed so I can give it a shot?

Sorry for the delayed response! I’ve been out of town & then I forgot to get notifications to my post!
Anyway, I just realized the person who uploaded the video has it as “unlisted” instead of “public”, so I would assume this would be a problem in viewing the video which is my guess why it’s not showing up. We’re getting that corrected and then I’ll see what happens.

I have tried both the iframe & old embed code and neither show the video.
