An URL like “http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cd_sg7LQFEM” gets rendered as expected. But I can not change the embeded media size in general like it is possible in version 3.4.2 via the media settings page.

The settings have been removed.

The width can be customized by the global variable $content_width. The height is now calculated as 1.5x the content width, or 1000px, whichever is smaller.

And you can still use the [embed] shortcode to define the height and width.

This should be better explained in the documentation, or even in the media settings page, where we use to make this config

I agree with DJIO, I just spent half an hour figuring out where that setting went, just to find out it’s gone… but anyway, thanks for resolving this. Diving into functions.php as we speak 🙂
