Hi, I have created three maps with markers and want to embed them in another website. I don’t understand all the different formats for export but I did try each of them, copied and pasted the code into the wordpress page of the other website, but it doesn’t work. I know it’s probably something simple, but I have tried a lot of the examples on the support pages but nothing works. If all else fails, I could manually do the maps again on the new website but would rather just embed them if I could. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Hi,
the current export formats are for marker/layer data only – not for the whole maps. For a later release of the pro version I plan to add a share button. Till then, you can use an iframe-tag and add the link to the fullscreen-map you want to embed in the other website as source.
    best,
    Robert

Thanks Robert for replying. I really like your maps and icons. I tried that but link to my site with this short link code [mapsmarker marker=”1″] doesn’t work and I can’t seem to find the long code. Is there somewhere in your plugin I can find the actual path?
    Thanks

The link to the fullscreen maps can be found in the panel above maps

I think I will just do them manually. Can’t see it there, only API links which I’ve already tried. Thanks anyway.

you have to build the iframe tag manually, like <iframe src=”link to fullscreen map”></iframe>
    see http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_iframe.asp for more details
