Emails not neing sent to buyer or seller

    I’m having a problem. The emails are not being sent to the buyer or seller. (We are selling a simple digital download and this email to the buyer is how they will be receiving the link to the pdf they paid for.) The only emails that are coming through are the payment emails from paypal. I checked with paypal and they say everything is fine on their end.

    When I go into the order cart, where it says “Buyer Email Sent?” it tells me yes and gives me the correct email. I also checked the debug log and it tells me that the Product Email successfully sent as well as Notify Email successfully sent. Yet, neither email is being delivered. I’ve tried everything and I can’t find the problem. Thanks for your help!

    I this the first time this happens? What WordPress version are you running?

    We are using word press 3.7.3. Since I have installed and set it up it has never worked once in all my testing.

    Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? The current version is 3.9.1. Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked? You need to upgrade WordPress asap.

    Hi @three Stones I highly advice you to upgrade to the current version 3.9.1. As @esmi mentioned above your are running the risk of being hacked.

    Also before you upgrade to the latest version make sure that all your plugins and theme is up to date with the latest WordPress version. And as always please create a backup before you upgrade just in case something goes wrong.

    Once you upgrade let me know if you still have this issue.
