• Version is actually 3.5.3 but that wasn’t an option.

I’ve set up a site on a staging link and the email form works fine with success messages explaining that the email has been sent.

I’ve recently moved the website over to the live server and the contact form now sends an email but doesn’t display the success message. Instead it displays an error message. The error message that displays is the one titled ‘# Sender’s message was failed to send’ in the options.

I’m not sure why this would be the case as the email sends fine…

  • Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked? You need to upgrade WordPress asap.

Apologies I misunderstood the version question – thought it meant of the plugin I’m using. The WordPress version I am using is 3.6. I plan on upgrading to 3.7 shortly but want to get it running first. Thanks. Any ideas about the original question?

The current version of the plugin may only be supported with the current version of WordPress. Upgrade WordPress first and, then if you still have problem, check out the plugin’s FAQ.

Just updated everything – WordPress and plugins. I am still getting the same error. Any other ideas?
