Hi. Installed wordpress via cpanel. Everything seems to work correctly except the posting via email.
The emailed posts appear in the admin area. I can add, edit and delete them.
HOWEVER, they do not appear on the site blog (in public). If I create posts via the admin section, they appear.
Any ideas to what the problem might be?
Timestamp for emailed posts is ?

I'm having the same exact problem -- and I have tracked it down to a weird time stamp issue.
Check this....
It's 11:30pm and I'm in the eastern time zone. My website and email server is physically located in California. I adjusted the time in WordPress to -5 to get the correct time for posts, etc. All is well.
However, then I send an email post at 11:30pm, the email shows up on WP that it was sent at 2:30AM tomorrow.
The only way I can get my email post to show up immediately is to set my laptop's calendar back by one day and send the email -- then it shows up that it came in at 2:30 yesterday. lol
Please help. I can't seem to figure out how to correct the time stamp issue (and I've been trying to search the forums and elsewhere).
Thanks!
Dan

So when and how is wp-mail.php supposed to fire? I can send posts via email, and if I manually run wp-mail.php, they get posted. But isn't this supposed to happen automatically somehow?
No, that's how it's supposed to work. I think full automation is being worked on.

I had the same problem, post would appear in admin panel but not post to blog.
To solve problem use kitten's modified file and it should work.
It did for me.
