Hi,
Firstly, for wordpress auction plugin only admins are the sellers. No visitors or users of the site can sell items using it. But PRO version has that feature, you can explore it to see if it fits your need. (Pro’s link: http://auctionplugin.net)
Coming back to email notifications, Yes admin (seller) can see the status of whether final bidder has been sent an email after winning an auction. (he tracks it from his admin dashboard via plugin)
Other than this here are some email notifications that plugin sends:
1. Admin (Seller) receives email notification for all bids on his product.
2. When auction expires, final bidder is notified about winning the auction & making the payment.
Other than this, I’m looking to add an email notification feature where all bidders are notified when someone bids on a product i.e. if 3 users have placed bids & 4th one comes & places highest bid then 3 previous users will be notified that they have been outbid.
This feature will be soon available.
