   I'm wondering if anyone knows of a plugin or way to set up email notifications from WP (such as Lost Password or new user registration password emails) so that they are delivered from a different server.

   We have a ton of email traffic on our WordPress installation server, and so these notification emails from WP are getting queued up and sometimes take hours or even a day to arrive, so people lose interest by then.

   Anyone have any ideas?

   Thanks Michael,

   I had tried the SMTP plugin but unfortunately it reroutes all mail, including the other stuff we're sending.

   I'll post back here if I manage to get a plugin written up.

   I had a plugin developer change the way we send the other email and then used the smtp plugin, for anyone this might in any way help.
