   I stopped receiving admin email notification form registration of new users.It startsed June 5th wit 2.8.1 and has continued thought to the current version of 2.84. Everything worked fin up to that upgrade. Mu host has don nothing and have always run a pretty generic server. (124Ehost)

   Up tho this upgrade process fro 2.7, everything when fine. I have checked every setting 4 or 5 times. ..finally in desperation went to Configure SMTP which seems to have at least generated new user registration emails. I suspect I've lost 100's over the last week.

   Anu idea what changed in the mail function area between the version? I'd really like it to all work like it did in 2.7.1 when all the emails just worked and were transparent to the users and Admin?

   In order to get Admin email notifications, I had to install the plug-in Configure SMTP. I`m at least getting email messages now, but still believe changes from 2.7.1 when the resident ()mail function worked perfectly for all mail generated by WP.
