Email notification not working when posting a comment (3 posts)

    I recently moved a site from Dreamhost to Bluehost. On the old server, when someone left a comment on the blog, the author was notified. For some strange reason, now on the new server, only the main administrator to the site (specified in the general settings) is getting notifications even though the other authors also have administrator roles. This doesn't make any sense.

    Anyone know if/how the author of the post can be notified when there is a comment on their article? Would a plugin make things simpler?

    How did you transfer the content? If you did a MySQL export/import, then I'm not sure, but if you did it with a WordPress import, sometimes that can mess with the author assignments.

    I seem to recall moving the database... so I don't think that's the reason. I'll double check with the client though, to see if this is happening with new posts as well as older ones.
