   Hello All,

   Under Settings > Discussion, I have the option checked: "Email me when anyone posts a comment". In my profile, my email address is correct. But I don't receive those emails. Can anyone help me figure out why?

   you are seeing this for the same reason that you cannot go through the "lost password" process.

   Go here:

   http://www.thepattysite.com/blog/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

   put in admin, what do you see?

   Thank you "whooami" - here's what I see:

   The e-mail could not be sent.
   Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function...

   Thank you for the search as well, but I don't see anything related there. I guess I can ask my host. Maybe it needs to be an email address within the domain. ??

   Im sorry, but then you didnt look very well, since the search terms I used was the error you JUST copied into here, consequently nearly all of those threads are about that exact error.

   the url i poasted is broke in the forum; its the forum, not my paste. if you make the effort to copy the entire url into your browser, you get a whole lot of answers.
