   after I updated my wp to 2.8, my blog's email function does not work. The blog does not send email notification to my email after some new comments post.And wp-db-backup also does not send me the backup...
   Does there someone have this problem?

   SMTP value should be the address of your SMTP server address rather than localhost. Please contact your hosting provider to get an exact SMTP server address.

   my hosting provider said that other user can use email function normally...
   So the problem is mine update to 2.8

   Ok..have you mentioned them about the correct SMTP server address?
