Support » Plugin: FireStorm Support Ticket System » Email adress and category

  • Hi,
I am allowing guests to add their support tickets, and there is only guests which will use it. (not logged in users).

But I can’t see any form for email. As I want to send a confirmation adress to the user with a link to check the status of their tickets.

Also, I am wondering where in the admin you can see the category the ticket was submitted in. As the user can choose, but I can’t find any place at all in the admin you can see what category the user submitted their question to.

Also, I am wondering if there is possible to run different forms, instead of using category.

Lets say I have 3 pages,

    Page 1 = Category1
    Page 2 = Category2
    Page 3 = Category3

When a user submits a question on page 2, it shows category2 in admin, when the user submits a question on page 3, it shows category3 and so on. Would that be possible?

    Thanks!

    Hi Herman,

The plugin currently requires users to login. The email address they use for their account is also used as the email for the ticket.

The category is not displayed in the admin however I will be adding this feature soon although I don’t have a date for the next update.

I can add in a feature for short codes which would accomplish custom forms for each category.

I added these three recommendations to my list and will do my best to get them in the next release.

    Wes
