    Hello,

    Since yesterday i’m having an issue with the event manager not sending email notification to members.. i have tried myself, and tried resending the confirmation from the EM plugin and it works once every many try.. i have tried changing the Mail sending method but same issue.. i have tried changing the emails but same result..

    The weird thing is that i got an email from some members telling me that they requested to recover their password but they have got nothing as well.. apparently the issue has something to do with the configuration or something else which i have no idea how to go about… please help me out to fix the issue..

    just to confirm, have you tried to use SMTP as your mail sending method then use gmail account just to rule out any server issues first? or could it be that it goes to the spam folder of the users?

    Hello, i think you are the same hero in EM.. so let me ost the same response so other members might use..

    Well, you just mentioned one word that changed everything.. Gmail.. i was using the SMTP thru my server authentication but it turn out that his mode since yesterday is not ok and it’s not sending out emails.. when i tried Gmail everything was perfect and it was working great.. on both the EM and WordPress email notification..

    any idea what the problem might be with the server?

    It might be your host or server has developed a problem with SMTP.

    Have you tried using one of the other mailing options (under Mail sending method)? Usually if one method doesn’t work another one will.
