Eliminate white space below footer (6 posts)

    Hi I'm trying my best using firebug to eliminate the white space below the footer on my site but I can't seem to get it to disappear. I fixed the margin above the header by simply moving the #ls-global{margin-top: -20px !important} which may or may not be the correct way of doing it... but the bottom is eluding me to no extent.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Craig

    It's because you are using wp stats. It puts the smiley face at the bottom. If you look close you can see it on the far left. There is a plugin that removes this smiley face.

    Here is another thread with some code fixes.

    Thanks for the response!

    Tried the fix you suggested and also tried the img#wpstats{display:none} insert into the css style sheet, but no luck...

    Also important to note... this is for the crowdsmartmedia.com/crowdsmartinc site, it's a separate wordpress site that has a totally different setup from the crowdsmartmedia.com site.

    FYI, the site is not rendering correctly in Firefox. You may want to do a cross browser check on all of the following

    Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8, 9
    Firefox
    Chrome
    Safari (windows)
    Opera

    Also check on Safari for iphone as well. You may want to check multiple mobile browsers.

    The site is a bit of a mess, it's causing horizontal scroll as well atleast on my laptop.

    Thanks for the tip! just out of curiosity what screen resolution are you running? I know we still need to work out the responsive BS and such, but let's take it one step at a time. We'll be running a mobile site for phone access since the slider will probably crunch up all the pieces into an unintelligible mess, on top of the fact that the touch areas are not optimized for the phone, which I'm not especially fond of the UX that would create...

    I tried the site in Chrome and Firefox on my macbook @ 1280x800 and so far it looks fine. It's kind of a pain in the ass because we're using a slider as the primary meat of the site. A little Avant-garde... I did figure out the problem with the white space at the bottom though, all I had to do was put div#layerslider_8{margin-bottom: -25px !important}
