Does anyone know how to increase the header height? I have uploaded a new header image that is slightly taller than the gray bar in the header. I don't want to resize the image, as it is important to the theme of my site. Would the setting for this height be in the header.php file? What would I look for to increase it?
Thanks!
There are thousands of WordPress themes - which means that many people won't be familiar with your particular theme. So a link to your site where people can see the theme might result in more responses.

Thanks for the suggestion... Here is the site: http://www.abbystyle.com/wordpress
You'll notice that the picture extends below the black section of the header.
Thanks!
I have the same problem and have spent hour after hour, night after night searching for an answer on this one my friend and my conclusion is this: nobody wants to talk about it cos it simply can't be done. If you want a taller header backround image, (it would appear to me anyway,) you have to dump your beloved theme in favour of snother one that is big enough to accomodate your image. Grrrr!
@basuk64
it probably can be done -
however, css tweaks are not primarily the focus of this forum - rather some prerequisit to modify anyting web-related.
the more info you provide (link to your site; size of the new background image; showing the issue live in your site; etc) the higher your chances are that someone might help.
