Editting topics sometimes causes apache crash

Hello,

I’ve recently tried installing wordpress locally for the first time on win2k, using the latest version of xampp.

I find that sometimes when I edit posts, or even create new posts and click the Publish button I get an error message telling me that apache tries to reference memory location zero, and that it’s crashed. This is always the child process that crashs.

Any thoughts as to why this crash is occuring so frequently? It must have happened to me about 10 times in the past hour.
