Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
– re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?
– increasing the available memory?
Remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site. Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.
– I deactivated all the plug-ins, and then went back to edit a post and my changes were still not saved.
I tried switching to the default theme temporarily and it didn’t change my problem.

It’s weird. I blogged last night and everything was working fine. I wake up this morning and try to edit a couple posts, and now I have problems.
When I make the change in the edit post area the change doesn’t save there even though I hit update/save draft. I don’t have to preview the page to know my changes are not showing up. I think it’s something within WordPress itself.
I should also mention it’s not letting me save any changes to page edits as well. I tested a page by deleting a sentence from my about page and when I hit “update” it showed my sentence back in there, like the update never happened.
I went into phpMyAdmin and repaired my database tables. Everything works now.
