Editor not showing text/images/windows etc

Before I updated to version 3.2.1 today, I was having trouble viewing my pages in the editor, so I thought I should update to fix the problem. This did not fix anything, so I deleted the plugins- this also didn’t resolve anything.

(The text and images are visible on my website though, so it’s not a matter of the information not being published.)

Why would the text and images in the pages visual editor and HTML editor not be showing up? Also, there are a few windows that seem not to be showing up on the side- like the one that asks what template this page is.

I called go daddy to double check that it wasn’t a hosting problem & they said my site looked fine.

Where do I need to look or what do I need to do to get my editor wp-admin back?
